LNG Bunkering Summit 2023

We’re delighted to share with you the launch of the brochure for the LNG Bunkering & Future Fuel Global Summit 2023 – which will take place in-person, May 23rd-25th at EXPO Greater Amsterdam.

This is our 10th edition and our biggest to date and after an eventful year (to say the least), the discussions will focus on LNG, BIO/Synthetic/E-LNG and the early development of Ammonia, Methanol and Hydrogen. We are delighted to have some fabulous sponsors and speakers on board, including our Official Host Partner, TotalEnergies.

For 2023, the world’s largest annual LNG Bunkering event which unites the entire industry, especially ship owners/ operators will focus on:

• Shipping Operators’ plans for the decade ahead

• The viability of Future Fuels (Methanol, Ammonia, Hydrogen etc.)

• Ground-breaking technological developments in LNG Bunkering

• Regional case-studies and expanded offerings of LNG and future fuels for the maritime industry • The decarbonisation pathway of the LNG family of fuels (BIO/Synthetic/E-LNG) • Adapting to and understanding regulation more effectively

ISO 23826:2021 Explained

ISO 23826:2021 Gas cylinders – Ball valves – Specification and testing is the latest benchmark for ball valves for gas or liquid Hydrogen use in transportation.
As of its publishing, ISO 23826:2021 sets the technical, operational, and testing requirements for TPED (Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive) certification required for Hydrogen transportation equipment.
The new ISO 23826 evaluates ball valve performance in terms of safety, constructing materials, testing and marking.
Ball valves adequately performing under the ISO 23826:2021 tests may be evaluated to be labeled with the ‘π’ symbol (TPED) and can be expected to endure performances in transporting Hydrogen conditions.
